Letters from the Editor

Okay, time for a long needed update to the Journal.

First off is a new index of articles from a friend named “Irreverend Hugh”. He has been kind enough to share with me several articles that appear no where else on the Net. His website died at one point and he pulled it all down and is trying to recreate them. I’ve just now gotten around to compiling them and putting them up here on the Journal.

You will find them at Irreverend Hugh not only here, but also on the Table of Contents section to the left of this page.

Next comes the articles I wrote for Rending the Veil. I have two more that need to be here, but as the time that they are going to be displaying them is not up yet, you can find them in the current issue there. So the ones I have written are FINALLY here, and I think they are excellent articles. You will find them linked all over the place, especially on the Site Map. Be careful, it’s easy to get lost on that page.

Finally, yes, we are still in financial trouble. It’s serious, but as of right now we aren’t in danger of losing our house. If you can help I would greatly appreciate it. There have been some who have donated, and their generous support has helped take care of some critical bills.

Also my wife Mary went in for hernia surgery about three weeks ago. It was serious, and they did some other tests that meant she needed a Heart Catheter, but the “almost a disaster” is that she had a 100% blockage in one section of her heart, which had grown its own feeder vessels to bypass the blockage. Yes, she gave herself her own heart bypass. She got a stent for another area, and she’s going back in about two months to finally have her hernia surgery.

And on top of it all, I go back to school Monday to actually take classes in my job. So I am kind of excited about that.

So, that’s the short story here. Things are serious, but not yet a disaster. It’s one of the cases where we can make it, but thigns will be dicey for some time. Shich should explain why I’m not writing as much as I would like to.
