A meme of hope

I pulled this from the Livejournal of Lupa. Try it and see what it does for you.

Regardless of where you are in life, how old you are, what you’ve already accomplished (however much or little that may be), if there’s something you want to do that you haven’t had the time or resources for, if you’re feeling like you may never get to it, if you feel like an utter and total failure because everyone else has done more than you have–quit posting memes and DO something about it. RIGHT NOW. Post this for others to read, and then get off Livejournal, do some research on whatever it is you want to do, and start looking for options to at least get the ball rolling–or, if what you want can’t be worked with right now, acceptable alternatives that are viable in the present. Then make a commitment to putting them into motion, even if it takes a long time or if you won’t get instant results. And don’t you dare come up with nothing more than a list of excuses.

Been Thinking

I’m never going to get rich off Daven’s Journal. I have a good readership, and those that have donated to me are very appreciated. But I’m never going to be independently wealthy off the website.

And that’s a shame.

Anyhow, just saying. I wish I could make a lot of money off the Journal. It would make life much more predictable and more stable. But short of selling ad space to others, i can’t really think of anything. Not that would not leave me really questioning my integrity.

My point? There is none, just me doing the sick babble.

Edited to Add: No, I’m not thinking of closing the site, just saying….
