Just stuff

Erin

Well, I’m still fighting with the RSS feed for this site. I can get it to go out to places like Weblog.com, but I can’t get the PERL script for my site to work, so I can feed this blog to the front page of this site.

Despite what you may be reading, this is NOT the front page.

What I want to do is to have a script or something that will pull the first post from this blog and put it on the front page in place of the current “update” section. The problem is that I have a lot of content there, and I don’t want to replace the front page with this blog entirely. I will do it if I have to, I can probably figure out how to set it up so that all the content on that page is on there. It will be a pain in the ass, but I could do it.

I have three CGI scripts running on that page, and two SSI scripts as well. Integrating them into a php page is going to be a nightmare. I’ve already had enough of a problem with just getting this template to match the rest of the site.

When are they bringing back The West Wing?
