By Theresa (Mary)
Inspired by and dedicated to Lady Pixie Moondrip, with humility and gratitude to her for her most sage council regarding the most important task of choosing a craft name.
This generator is exactly 99 names long, do no seek to tamper with the numerology so carefully wrought, for 99 is 3 3’s twice and when added together 9 + 9 = 1 8 and when added together 1 + 8 = 9 also. It took at least 5 minutes to dream that up and I don’t want my hard work spoiled!
You must use the generator 3 times only for again it is the fulfillment of your spirit guide/totem/guardian/teacher/deity’s wishes for your craft name.
NOTE: There are 6 columns and 17 lines this means that there are 3 blank boxes. If you have randomly chosen a blank box, this indicates that ______ (insert name of deity that you worship here) wishes you to only have 2 craft names and not three. When you are ready and have worked really hard the 3rd or even 4th name will be made know to you by _____ (insert name of deity that you worship here)
Titles: Your title(s) will come from the type of Wiccraft you follow. If you follow the Fairey path, that will be different from Gardenerinian, etc. I am eclectic of course, so the spirits of my totems guided me to being a High Lady
Formula for use:
For example:
I dropped the die on row 16 and the number facing upright was 4 so one of my craft name is Wind. This is significant to me because I am an air sign. I knew I was on the right track.
Next I dropped the die on row 12 and the die was on 1, so that was Rose, also highly significant since I love them so much, they are my favorite flower.
Finally with much faith and belief that this would guide me to my true craft name I drop the die for the 3rd and final time. It landed on Snow.
Tremblingly I arranged the words until I knew they were in the proper order and thus I became, High Lady Wind SnowRose. I knew it was perfect since I was born during the last air sign of the zodiac, when snow can destroy gardens, but if you live in a warm climate the roses are budding.
*Die is the singular form of the word dice just get one.

Alternate method. If you have lost all you dice, don’t have a printer, etc. Here are some alternative methods.
a. Cut the names into individual cards
b. Put the cards into a specially crafted bag, like you might have for your tarot cards.
c. Draw out 3 cards one at a time.
Update June 10, 2002 A very nice lady named Katie Clapham (email of kayte66@msn.com) made a TRULY random name generator based on this file. She sent me a copy and I share it with you here: Download IT!
There are some things you need to be aware of, however.
Thank you so much for this Katie!
